Taking Care of Your Socks

Cashmere dry cleaning
This time of the year I always have a little fixation. One year it was for duvet ‘like’ coats, another year it was for argyle jumpers and one year it was for wearing PJ bottoms with cashmere jumpers when going out with my fur lined birkies. Mum always said I was a rebel. (Scarves-haven’t quite got over them but I’ll leave them for another day)
But this year?
Argyle, organic, tie-dye or statement, this year, strangely, under commercialised (maybe that’s why I’m fixated) item I’m excited about has got to be socks!!
Wether it’s been the cold weather or being at home keeping cosy during last years lockdown or wether it’s just because they are damn right snazzy I can’t get enough of socks.
They add that bit of je ne sais quoi to an otherwise dark and over covered winter uniform. They also go with the best thing since slice bread, wearing sneakers all day long. And if boots are your thing then boom, again what better item to poke out the top of the rim of them but a ribbed pair of sports sock or maybe a glimpse of a Gucci logo.
Can anyone deny that they would be super happy to receive a pair for Xmas?

So please please Mr Efendi it’s not diamonds or even a APC bucket bag I want for Xmas but a gorgeous pair of Dries Van Noten Fogal socks or Stella McCartney’s The Beatles Get Back intarsia cotton socks will do nicely.

Tumble dry low. Do not bleach. Machine wash cold.
